Muriwai Beach, on Auckland’s west coast, is known for its powerful beach breaks and black sand shoreline. The surf follows the sweeping curve of the bay, backed by rugged cliffs and native bush.
This series traces the shape of New Zealand’s coastline at well-known surf breaks through clean, minimal linework. Each piece reflects the form of the coast and its surrounding landscape.
